An utterly chaotic band that built up a huge following during the 1987 Rock Contest. Foils and The Fishcakes were, Lee and Danny on guitars, Neil Faulkes on bass and Andy McDonald (from The Pressure) on drums. Chaos and noise reigned but they were a most fun band. Not too much is known about this lot. |

Formed by Paul Woodwright, guitar/vocals, Brian Hasler and Austin Stack, both on bass, David Leader, drums, and finished off with Chris Moffatt and Gillian Wright on vocals. With two bassists things got rather intense. After being championed by Colin Dredd (Newtown Neurotics) and landing a support slot with them at The Square they split up after a handful of gigs as Austin left to join Real By Reel and the rest began the embryo that was to become Deviant Amps. |
